Joseph is a founding partner of Wellington Legal, a mid-size law firm in Hong Kong.
Admitted as a solicitor in 1999, Joseph is an experienced commercial and intellectual property lawyer with a record of success in providing legal support to startups, small and medium enterprises and multinational corporations in a wide range of industries from different backgrounds.
Apart from his legal practice, Joseph is a seasoned investor in early-stage startups in different industries such as food tech, telemedicine, IT, blockchain, media and entertainment. He is adept at identifying potential investment opportunities. He is a director and general partner of Soapbox Capital, a seed venture fund focused on early-stage startups in Southeast Asia and South Asia.
Joseph is fluent in Putonghua, English and conversational in Japanese.
