Prof. Sun is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Before joining HKUST in 2014, Prof. Sun worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the California Institute of Technology. He obtained PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 2012 and BS degree from Peking University in 2007. His primary research interests include protein materials, protein engineering and synthetic biology.
